Thought I'd say something out of the blue so I'll mention how I find having a birthday on a holiday is either a good or bad thing depending on the holiday. The gift giving holidays such as Christmas, Hanukkah, or Kwanzaa seem to be tough on those who have a birthday surrounding them like getting half the presents instead of double. National holidays or the ones where you don't have to go to school or work seems like a nice time to land on unless you're either out of school or have to work then that pretty much sucks. And then there's the Holidays that don't have to do with gifts or a nice break but they're just fun in general such as St. Patrick's Day which my b-day lands on. the greatest perk I could think of for being born on that day is possibly more drinking if you're into that kind of stuff. Other than that, its just wear green or you'll be pinched. To be honest I've even worn green to bed as a safety measure against my folks who try to get me with pinches while I'm asleep, fail, then give me my birthday licks later in the day. So in hindsight, I'm not safe either way. Talk about the luck of the Irish
